About

I turn uncertainty about AI into a system people can act on.

Over twenty-five years I have led technology and change from two sides of the table: designing enterprise architectures and advising the executives who have to fund, govern and defend them.

My work sits in the space between ambition and reality — where a promising idea either becomes an operating capability, or quietly becomes a pilot nobody mentions again.

For most of a decade I have worked as an AI business architect: designing assistant-driven and agentic solution landscapes, and sitting with C-level leaders to define adoption strategies, shape technology roadmaps, and guide organisations from envisioning through prototype to full-scale implementation. Before that, years in enterprise advisory and solution design taught me the discipline that matters most — explaining complex technology in language a business can act on.

I am, by instinct, a systems thinker. Faced with something ambiguous, I explore the whole landscape, find the underlying structure, and convert it into artefacts other people can execute: frameworks, operating models, governance, enablement paths. That same instinct built an AI-powered brand from a blank page.

And I am an entrepreneur, which changes how I advise. I know what it costs to narrow a vision to a first sellable offer, to choose partners, to be judged by a market rather than a steering committee. That experience keeps my counsel practical.

Mission

To help people and organisations succeed with artificial intelligence — practically, responsibly, and on their own terms.

Approach

How I work with people

How I mentor

Socratic, not prescriptive. I ask the questions that expose the real constraint, then help you build the reasoning — so the next decision is yours to make alone.

How I advise

Business language, executive pace, evidence on the table. Options with trade-offs, a recommendation, and the reasoning behind it.

How I lead

Set direction, remove ambiguity, protect the team's ability to decide within clear boundaries.

Values

What I hold to

  • Meaning first

I do not start with the technology. I start with what the work is for — because purpose is what makes an AI programme survive its first setback.

  • Honest counsel

I will tell you when AI is the wrong answer. Trust is worth more than a longer engagement.

  • Coherence

Names, definitions, ownership and versions matter. Consistency is what allows intelligent systems to be trusted at scale.

  • Independence you can keep

Success is your team making confident AI decisions without calling me.

Let's discuss your ambition

Bring the problem you cannot yet describe cleanly. That is usually the most valuable place to begin.
